How to Work
A coated metal panel is placed securely on a die inside the device.
A designated falling weight with a hemispherical punch is dropped from a measured height down a vertical guide tube.
Technicians inspect the panel to see if the coating cracks, peels, or resists the impact, following standards like ASTM D2794 or ISO 6272
